These outlying farm houses date from at least the early part of the 19th Century the effect of enclosure.

Mythe Cottage, strictly Witherley but the Corbett family of the 19th century had close associations with Ratcliffe Mythe Cottage Farm on the Atherstone road out of Ratcliffe.

The Limes Bank Farm, the Bacon family were there from 1837 - 1891 and possibly later Ratcliffe House farm, only the farm buildings now remain. The Baldocks were there in 1881
