I have fully transcribed the four registers 1754-73, 1774-1814, 1815-36 and 1837 - 1995 and have added extra details to many entries. The first of these registers has extreme water damage. It is not a standard register but includes the banns details followed by the marriage entry and includes many Sheepy entries. Reading it alongside the bishop's transcripts 95% plus of marriages have been successfully extracted.
The Ratcliffe Culey banns book for the period 1824 - 1940 has been checked against the registers and an index of banns called with no corresponding marriage is provided.
The full transcript will not be posted but a name index is provided for all transcripts. I will provide full details of any entry provided the request is by the form provided.
The published index only covers up to 1925 for obvious reasons , I may be able to provide post 1925 information please contact me below with details you are looking for.
This index is in alphabetical order using standard surnames in order to group various spellings together. Because of this, some names will appear to be out of sequence i.e. Joyce will be listed with Choyce / Choice, Jilliver with Gilliver, Right with Wright etc. The standard surnames are similar to those used by LDS resource files, minor alterations to account for local variations have been applied. (A * following a surname indicates these).
